ATT No-drop Trail Skate in Durham (15 minutes earlier)

Details
This is a no-drop skate open to all skaters and we skate at a speed that everyone is comfortable with, so beginners are encouraged to attend. We skate on the American Tobacco Trail (http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/3/b/f/7/highres_49095351.jpeg) (ATT), which is built on an old railroad bed that is relatively flat and straight. Any hills are very gradual, although a couple are long enough that you can pick up some speed. Moderate braking skills are required. (Let us know if you need some braking tips.) As with all our group skates, helmets are required. Wrist guards, elbow and knee pads are recommended. You should also bring water or a sports beverage for hydration.
The ATT is about 6.5 miles from end-to-end and we skate out-and-back for a total distance of 13 miles. Since you can turn around at any point, let us know if you're not comfortable with this distance.
Directions to the starting location - Southpoint Crossing Shopping Center (http://triangleskateclub.com/directions_SouthpointCrossing.php) (Note that we meet in the parking lot directly in front of the Souper Salad - NOT the detached parking lot directly adjacent to Fayetteville St.)
We'll meet at 6:00pm and start skating by 6:15pm. If you can't arrive early, please try to gear up as quickly as you can when you do arrive. In the event of questionable weather (http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=35.98040&lon=-78.91500&unit=0&lg=english&FcstType=graphical) we will make a go/no-go call 90 minutes before the scheduled start so check the Meetup site after 4:30pm.
NOTE: Since last week it was almost dark when we arrived back, we're starting this week's skate 15 minutes earlier than usual, at 6.15pm.
Sunset (http://www.sunrisesunset.com/USA/North_Carolina.asp) tonight will be at 7.56pm.
