Lunch Talk: "Lifestyle Ownership" with Carlos Mims

On Thursday, December 5, our featured Lunch Talk speaker is Carlos Mims of Mims Financial Group. The talk title will be: “Lifestyle Ownership: Embracing a New Paradigm about Money and Wealth.”

Are you living the life of your dreams right now? If you are like most people, the answer is probably “no.” Most people struggle to achieve their desired lifestyles because of failure to recognize the difference between owning a lifestyle and financing a lifestyle. A high income level does not guarantee prosperity; in fact, people sometimes find that an increase in income makes their financial situation worse!

By learning to make a subtle shift in the way you think and make decisions about money, you can not only begin to live the life you want, but also ensure that you will be able to maintain that lifestyle without continual pressure to keep a high-paying job or work long hours in a business. It doesn’t matter how much or how little money you make; it is possible to start out on the path to lifestyle ownership today. I will talk about practical and simple ways that you can start building a lifestyle from assets that you own and control.

MEETING LOGISTICS

Lunch is $12 (be ready to pay at the door). Our lunch talk meetups run from 11:30 to 1:00.

We will have open mingling and networking from 11:30 to 12:00. At 12:00, we will begin the formal presentation by the speaker. Presentations typically run approximately 45 minutes.The buffet will be open for the entire time, but we ask that attendees not go up to the buffet during the presentation. The buffet will continue to be open after the event is concluded.

Please get your food and be ready for the presentation to start promptly at noon.Be sure to bring plenty of business cards!
