The Triangle Open Carry meetup exists to support and promote the safe and responsible open carry of firearms in the Triangle area. Open carry of firearms is completely legal in North Carolina, with a few exceptions (schools, state and federal government buildings, restaurants that serve alcohol, etc). Remember, "A Right Unexercised is a Right Lost!" Open carrying opens up many opportunities to educate fellow citizens about the right to keep and bear arms.
