“Hi Cheryl, Thank you for reaching out. I know how frightening it can be at the beginning, and how many questions you have. If you can make our next meeting on Feb 13th it could be helpful to you. As you know, Sarcoidosis can affect many organs in different ways. Mine has only been found in my lungs. It is important that you realize that you need to control this disease, not let it control you. Make sure you have a good support group and a good doctor you can trust. Please come, we don't bite :)”

“My husband was diagnosed with sarcoid in 1982. He did okay during most of those years but his life changed drastically in 2007. He is able to care for himself but I need support in being the spouse of someone with sarcoid.”
