Paint, Wine & Dine

FYI: There are a total of 9 people from various clubs signed up for this event - should be a lively time. For those of you who painted Starry Night - this painting is much easier, and therefore more fun, to paint. It turns out beautifully.

FYI - Deborah Bird is offering another paint, wine and dine session. Here is her description of the event:

Learn to paint a flowering tree while sipping wine on the banks of the Haw river. All supplies are provided and everyone leaves with a beautiful painting regardless of skill level. This lively and entertaining event will be held at the The Eddy restaurant.

The Eddy is located in the Saxapahaw Rivermill, a charming, restored Cotton Mill and Dye House on the banks of the Haw River in picturesque Saxapahaw, just a short drive from Chapel Hill. The Rivermill offers a unique blend of history, community, sustainability, culture and nature, while providing for every modern necessity. They serve NC born draft beers and wine by the bottle and glass. Their appetizer menu includes "the dip trio": Baba ghanoush, black bean hummus & local green garlic dip, with hosue baguette, carrots & corn chips (vegan upon request).

Cost of the event for Vegan Social Club members is $35 (normally $45). This covers the cost of the painting and supplies. Food and beverages are extra.
