This Meetup group was formed to promote adult and youth water polo in the Triangle. Adults and older youth are encouraged to join the Triangle Water Polo Club. Youth of all ages are encouraged to attend Introduction to Water Polo Clinics. Both are described below and both are coed:

NOTE: IF YOU SEE ONLY A FEW PEOPLE HAVE SIGNED UP FOR A MEETUP EVENT, DON'T BE ALARMED! WE ENCOURAGE ALL MEMBERS TO INDICATE WHEN THEY WILL SHOW UP, HOWEVER, NOT ALL MEMBERS OF TRIANGLE WATER POLO CLUB SIGN UP FOR EACHJ PRACTICE. TYPICALLY WE GET 20+ TO PRACTICE:)


Triangle Water Polo Club: For the Spring 2011 season (through May), we will be practicing Wednesday nights from 7:30 to 9:00 PM.  

Group is primarily for those with experience playing water-polo or strong swimmers looking to learn a new sport. High school students age 16+ who are strong swimmers are also encouraged to join. This is great way to stay in shape and a great way to meet people. It's also fun!

Youth Water Polo Clinics: These clinics are designed to introduce youth ages 11+ to the concepts of water polo. Clinics will be held on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30 PM, approximately every Month througout the Spring and Early summer. The location of the clinics is at TAC in Cary.

We plan to run an informal league with 3 to 4 teams from mid-July through the end of August. Games will be Sat with one practice per week in the evening.
