A microISV (Independent Software Vendor) is a small software shop, usually with between 1 to 10 people, which is focused on growing organically (not through venture capital) and handles all business tasks (development, sales, PR, etc.) itself.
Are you running or part of a microISV in the Triangle? Or maybe interested in starting one or hearing from those who have? If so, the Triangle microISV group is for you.
Some of the goals of the Triangle microISV group are:
* Connect – meet and connect with other local microISV owners and employees
* Learn – share and glean valuable knowledge on all aspects of microISVs, like PR, product development, legal issues, business strategies, and more
* Motivation – talking to others can be extremely helpful when you're stuck or need a bit of extra motivation to get that next feature released
* Feedback – get constructive feedback from people who know what they're talking about
We're just starting up so get in contact and let us know what you'd like to get out of the Triangle microISV group. Meeting formats (and lots of other things) still need to be decided, so speak up now and help shape the future of this group!
Come meet other microISVers. Join us Thursday November 12th at Paneras Streets of Southpoint at 7pm.
This is an informal get together of people who are microISVers or aspire to be.
This months meeting is an opportunity to share your experience. Share your best tip for what's worked and what hasn't in your software business.
This group doesn't have any additional upcoming Meetups scheduled.
