What is the Triangle Area Chinese Culture and Language Meetup Group?

Our group's mission is to help people understand Chinese culture and learn Chinese language, help to understand how Chinese culture benefits the modern world, and what Chinese can learn from other cultures and values. Our goal is bring people together to build a better world. Whether you learn Chinese for personal interest or have a clear goal to achieve in Chinese language, we are here to help you. America and China are operate very differently in terms of political, social and economical system. Our goal is not debating who is right or wrong, we are here to understand each other, and most importantly, meet new friends!

How does Chinese group operate?

This group is for the community and by the community. We have many event organizers organize event independently or jointly. It's the core spirit of this group in order to provide rich variety of activities. If you are interesting in event organizer role, please let me know.

Few tips about our group:

Please honor your reservation when RSVP "yes". Frequent no show could result disapproval of attending future event by the event host/organizer. Attend event is member’s privilege not rights. Please update your RSVP if you can't come.

Some events are very popular, they fill up quickly and may not have waiting list. Make sure reserve your spot on time when it's still available. It's import to give rating or provide comments after the meetup. It will help us to ensure quality meetup and know your experience.

You are encouraged to upload your photos and introduce yourself if you haven't yet done so.

We are quite liberal about the type of topics allow to discuss. Please keep respect, rational and logical in mind when exercise your "freedom of speech" here.
