The Pottstown section of the Schuykill River Trail, known as the Thun Trail, has a smoothly paved surface, which is mostly flat. There are a few small hills on the eastern part of the ride, but they are easily ridden or walked up. Our ride will start at the Montgomery County Community College parking lot, and travel west to Grosstown Road and back. This will be approximately 6 miles round trip. The trail turns to gravel just west of the Grosstown Road parking lot, so we will not be able to go any further.

With all of our rides we don't drop anyone and we take breaks as needed. You may get a little spread out, but you will never be left behind.

We will start our ride at 11:00 am, but I will arrive at the parking lot at 10:30 am for any beginners who would like to try a Trikke for the first time. I have one extra T78 for anyone who wants to accompany us on this ride, but does not yet own a Trikke.

Here’s a trail map from a ride I did there in early September:

We will meet at the Montgomery County Community College parking lot at 140 College Drive in Pottstown, PA near South Hanover St. There is ample parking here as well as a porta-john.

All attendees will need their own helmet. I have one extra Trikke T78 to lend if you don’t have your own Trikke. I'll email my cell phone number to those that sign up that Friday night so you can get in touch with me if you need to.
