After a term of meetings, speakers and events concerning economics, speaker Michael Salvi, leader of the Philadelphia organization "Truth, Freedom and Prosperity," will come out to speak to us about "what's next" and the future of economics in America. He will be discussing some of his endeavors in the market and more ways that students can get involved to safeguard their personal finances along with a description of what is going on in global economics.
Michael Salvi is a resident of Philadelphia and is an activist, entrepreneur, real estate agent and organizer. He is a leader of the organization Truth, Freedom, Prosperity, which holds many events in the area supporting the cause of liberty. He currently leads a monthly movie meet-up at MBN Studios in the Northern Liberties that shows liberty themed documentaries and films. He started out as a coordinator for the national non profit organization Campaign for Liberty, which promotes individual liberty, sound money, free markets, limited government, and a non-interventionist foreign policy. His activism has branched out into various topics surrounding individual sovereignty. As a student of history and human interaction, a father, and someone who juggles two careers, Michael decided to focus his strength into educating the public about self-ownership and genuine freedom the way some of our founders envisioned. Since then he's become an organizer of one of the largest liberty meetup groups in the area. He has been a lead organizer in several "End the Fed" protests, a bi-annual event that promotes "leaving behind" the Federal Reserve system and seeking alternatives. His experience with these protests leads him to be our speaker for our end of the term wrap up on economics.
Be sure not to miss this one and come out to support both the Student Liberty Front and our awesome speaker!
