You've probably heard the advice "find an activity you love..." If you're still looking for it, this group is for you to try out different fitness, recreation, sports, and general wellness activities that you may have otherwise avoided out of concerns about "fitting in" as a bigger person.
This group is about finding the fun in activity in safe and friendly environments, the adventure of trying new things, and experiencing the joy of what your body CAN do.
Please join in if you'd like to try a sport or activity that is brand new to you or that you'd like to give a second chance: experiences in hiking, yoga, martial arts, dance, whitewater rafting, and more are on the "hit list" already. We will organize spaces, times, and instructors as necessary to give you the opportunity to TRY IT!
