Millions of people living today bare the burden of the cross known as poverty. They struggle to enjoy the three basic necessities of life, a place to sleep, something to eat and clothe to wear. Carrying the cross of poverty is no joke!
Failure is another cross many must bare in one form or another. Few people understand that failure is seldom permanent. Failures usually turn out to be blessings in disguise. Lessons are learned from failures which one would never learn without it.
Most conditions which people think are failures are just temporary defeat. Joel Olsteen says “A setback is a setup for a comeback.”
If you feel that you are a failure, think how much worse off you would be if you had to change places with others who have real cause for complaint.
If you have a strong body and a sound mind you have much to be thankful. Millions of people around you have no such blessings.
If you are experiencing what you believe to be failure, have patience; you may be passing through your testing time.
If you have the real seed of success within you a little adversity and temporary defeat will serve to nurture that seed and cause it to burst forth. Just like the oak tree inside the acorn.
“There is a sure way to avoid failure: be nothing and do nothing. Find a job that kills off ambition. The remedy never fails.”
YOU CAN IF YOU THINK YOU CAN
