This group acts as a hub for people to hear about and advertise skill sharing meet ups.

How it works:

Members are invited to suggest topics they would find useful to learn about by clicking the "Suggest A Meetup" button.

Members can also volunteer to run a tutoring session on something they are good at by uploading an event on "Suggest A Meetup" or by responding to someone else's meetup suggestion.

PLEASE NOTE: If someone has added an event do not edit the details of their event (e.g. time and venue) unless you have their permission to do so.

What skills training will there be?

The main focus of this group is on practical skills to help you with your career or to start a business but we're open to any suggestions. Here are some examples of the sessions we hope to run:

• Make a website
• Use social media
• Start a blog
• Use budgeting software
• Do a press release
• Write a CV
• Edit photos
• Edit videos

How much do workshops cost?

This depends on the person running it but we do ask all organisers to not charge more than around £5 per person if possible.

Can I promote my business by running a meetup?

Yes. If for example you are a web developer and run a session on how to make a website then you are welcome to add a link to your own website.

Where can I run an event?

There are a lot of pubs and bars that have private booths or rooms that you can use for free.

If you need wi-fi we find that venues can usually support around 6 people doing something like making websites.

• Made In Brazil, Camden - Private room downstairs, free to use
• Theodore Bullfrog, Charing Cross - Large room upstairs often empty, free to use, wi-fi
