When Harry Connick Jr. uttered those words to Sandra Bullock in the film he was not championing the qualities of solitary diners, he was bemoaning them. And he was right. Eating alone is like preparing the food without seasoning. Its bland. So why do it?
Conversation is a condiment. It makes a meal savory. We talk, share news, tell stories and plan other outings. We start early enough so it won't disrupt the rest of your day.
