Details

Please note the location change from the September meeting!

Dinner-- whether it's on-the-go, eating out at a restaurant, or a nice home-cooked meal for one (or 10), dinner tends to be heartiest most thoughtful meal of the day. For many clean eaters, this one is a struggle because there are so many factors (whether it is pleasing many palettes, budgeted, meal prepping, keeping it interesting, etc.). This meeting will focus on Clean Eating at DINNER TIME. I will have a specific food item to sample at the meeting related to the topic of the month! :-)

Members are asked to email me (Jackie@OptimumWellnessMN.com) one clean eating recipe before or on the actual meeting date, "as clean as you can get it" that fits the "theme" that month. I will clean recipes up even more, and email all of the recipes to the attendees. The goal is that over the course of the year you will collect TONS of clean eating recipes to keep you and your family and friends satisfied, interested and healthy. Clean eating CAN BE simple, affordable AND delicious and I am excited to bring you these resources.

*NOTE: This month I am collecting donations for the Washburn Center for Children in my Minneapolis neighborhood. Please bring a donation if your budget allows! Thank you for giving back to the community! Please click on the link below for their current wish list:

The Washburn Center for Children is the state’s leading children’s mental health center, caring for a wide variety of children’s needs such as:

attention deficit disorders

trauma

behavioral problems

anxiety

learning difficulties

depression

Washburn serves children from birth to age 18. Last year, they offered hope nearly 2,700 children and over 8,000 family members. In response to the community’s growing need, the nonprofit doubled the number of children it served in the past six years. Nearly 58% of children Washburn serves are from families with low incomes.
