Depends on the water. In the BWCA...the lightest one. Actually, if I had to pick one I'd probably still pick the MN II because I like to bring stuff. If we're talking whitewater...I'd pull the Ally out.
I kind of like the Horse River from Basswood Falls but I've only gone through there once. I also like cruising down the Minnehaha when the water's up. I thought the Namekagon is a nice local paddle but that's Wisconsin.
I live right along the Minnehaha in Minneapolis and keep two canoes, one kayak, and a stand up board in the garage. I'd like to do multiple canoe camping trips per year, but it's usually ends up being one.
