Hi - I joined this group and shortly after the organizer stepped down. So, what's a Tweeter to do? Tweet to the plate......
Did you know that the Internet is booming? Sales are up! And did you know that those who have entrepreneurial, technical and developed social networking skills will survive best in this economy?
It is really important for people to Get To Know Others. You can connect with others who are making it happen out there along with others who are really doing some cool and fun things. But how will you know if you don't know them?
Networking 101: First, you must build relationships with others. How do you find people to get to know? How do you find people who have things in common with you? Or those who can help you with your career on other business opportunities?
Platforms such as this Meetup group, Facebook and Twitter are great avenues to begin to get to know others. Make new friends from Cyberspace and then meetup face-to-face.
We all can help one another succeed too. How?
Ask yourself, who do I know who does something that might compliment the business that I am in? Or who do I know that knows someone who is working for a company that I want to for...if you are leaning toward that direction.....Or I'd like to meet others who are.....you fill in the blank...
So then when we have met a bunch of people who we are building relationships with, how do we stay in touch with them? You guessed it Twitter. With a tweet here and tweet there...Twitter is perfect avenue for sending out or receiving quick updates from all of your friends.
Questions:
How would you like to use this forum?
Does anyone want to help to organize a TweetUp?
When you join, provide your Twitter address so we can get to know you!
I will be planning a meetup soon and will post the details shortly. Then, if you'd like to join in, send a message on this forum and then tweet me on Twitter....
