Having a delinquent pancreas isn't always convenient. Sometimes I try to give my beta cells a pep talk -"You can do it!" But, let's face it, diabetes is part of the journey. We're always looking for people to share the journey and meet up for a hike in the mountains, a potluck and a laugh.

What would be the point if we couldn't laugh about life and enjoy ourselves?

There wouldn't be one! We're here to build a community of people who have Type 1 diabetes in the Salt Lake City area. Of course, this includes the support people (partners, friends, family of people with Type 1). It's a place for people to coordinate and meet other Type 1-ers or supporters. Activities and events tend to revolve around hanging out, being active, or, well, eating good food. If there's any get-together or event you'd like to do, post it on the calendar!
