November 2014 OC Foodbank Incredible Edible Farm Harvesting
Details
Orange County has a lot of residents living under California poverty line. There are large families living in small apartments, parents working long hours, and children left home hungry.
In this event, we will work with Second Harvest Foodbank's Farm in Orange County Great Park to collect Vegetable and/or Fruit for donation purposes.

Due to major construction on Marine Way, one end of Marine Way is fully blocked. please make sure you enter Marine Way through Sand Canyon Ave. (That is right, use the same path that you go to Orange County Great Park!) Here is the details:

Please enter Marine Way from Sand Canyon Avenue ONLY (Follow the OC Great Park Sign).

When you get to OC Great Park Parking lot entrance, make a right turn.

Follow the road to drive about 2 miles (you will see the Great Park Orange Balloon on your left hand side) till you reach the end of the drivable road . Follow the signs and make a right turn into the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Park at the visitor parking area. We will get together and then go to the farm on the other side of the OC Great Park.
