What do you enjoy most about Star Trek (or sci-fi, in general)?

I love time travel, alternate realities, mirror universes, and similar phenonema. My favorite Trek villain is Q... but is he REALLY a villain...?? :)

How do you celebrate Star Trek/sci-fi? (i.e., watch episodes/films; read novels; go to cons; costuming; model building)?

I watch just about any scifi show on TV. I used to be an avid reader, but I've slowed down for now. I've read several Star Trek novels in the 90's, mostly written by Peter David

What days & times are good for meetups?

Weekends, evenings.

Do you have any special skills, contacts, etc. we could use that would help make this a fun & interesting group to be a part of? If so, what are they?

I'm currently taking courses in web design and programming. I'm planning on creating my own network of creative people who may be able to help promote the group.

I've been a scifi/Star Trek fan for as long as I can remember. I want to write scifi and fantasy novels. And I love meeting new like-minded people. Hello!
