Awesome talk! As always, Frankie drops the knowledge, and it totally humble about it. :)

    Jonathan,

Thank you for comments! It is my hope that my cutters would be used and not JUST placed on a pedestal. You may have noticed a progression in my talk where the objects I make are getting closer and closer to my desire for them to be "put into daily use"! Shea's hand is doing that and I think that's why this project is so dear to my heart right now.

Thanks again for your kind words.

    Best,
    Frankie

    Frankie. Very inspiring presentation.

First and foremost, you got me to think!!!! :) I'm still thinking about what is art, craft, tools, process, design. Question I wanted to ask you was... 1. If one of your "pizza cutters" sits in a gallery and never cuts a pizza... is it a pizza cutter? And if not, why design the object to seemingly appear like a pizza cutter. Why not make it appear like a pipe.

On another note... someone said "humble" in a previous comment about you. You beautifully explained your art, but in particular... showed how you are a master craftsman. This, I AM humbled.

Thank you for re-energizing my creative batteries. I look forward to upcoming lectures!
