UX Belgrade Meetup #1 - Collaboration

We are looking forward to our first gathering. Hope you’ll join us and help us create and connect a group of UX Design professionals from our region.

Agenda

We'll start with local design experts who can share their international experiences and bring you insights from their collaboration with clients and teams from all around the globe. In the future, we plan to welcome regional and international speakers as well.

► 17:15h - Gathering

Come on time and reserve your seat for the talks. There will be some basic snacks and drinks, so you can make yourself comfortable and chill out on the terrace while speakers are getting ready.

► 17:45h - Cheap, Fast & Good Design // Bojan Đuričić

Mockups are dead, long live prototypes! But wait - showing hi-fi demos gives you the best feedback, but also burns your time & hurts your project budget. What’s the right level of detail & interaction? How can we rapidly prototype dirt-cheap, yet good-enough UX?

► 18:20h - Designers And Developers Together For Better User Experience // Nenad Ivanović

Collaboration between designers and developers is the most important part in creating amazing products. Nenad will be telling a story about overcoming communication barriers throughout the product development process, in order to create better User Experience.

► 18:55h - UX Court // Petar Stojaković & Đorđe Vanjek

In UX everything is correct until proven wrong. Petar and Đorđe will talk about some basic approaches in the UX process as well as the some of the interesting early testing techniques. They’ll do their best to present some of the real-world examples that they completed most recently.

► 19:30h - Networking

Let’s get to know each other and share our experiences! We can chit-chat on the terrace with probably one of the most beautiful views of Belgrade.

Who is it for?

We are looking for UX Design professionals, but encourage designers in general, as well developers, researchers, and product owners to name a few, to join us. In case you’re interested in learning and sharing your experience on the topic of User Experience - Welcome to the party!

» Designers - This is a hot topic for all designers out there, no matter in which industry you are - so be sure to not miss it.

» Developers- As designers, we love developers. Together with you, we can make awesome things!

» Strategists - Without research, analytics, copywriting and many other things our designs may not solve problems. Help us help you.

» Product Owners - All the business and product owners should understand what good UX can mean to their customers. Why not you?

Location

First UX Belgrade meetup will be held at the Devana Technologies office, who kindly gave us their presentation room and terrace to use free of charge. We plan to have a different venue for each upcoming meetup - so if you have any idea where they can be hosted in the future, drop us a line.
