UX Perth was born from the merger of the Perth UxBookclub (since 2009) and the Perth Usability Professionals Association Chapter (in formation since 2007). The combining of the resources allows for a stronger User Experience Design community.

The mission of this meetup is to promote and educate people on the use of User Experience best practices and techniques.

This is a focused specialised group, if you are interested in User Experience Design or its off shoots of Service Design or Design Thinking then this meetup group is for you.

We meet monthly face to face or via Skype, with an optional reading component of monthly book (from the UXbookclub) or the occasional presentation.

Details of the books read and the upcoming reading list can be found here.

You can be ensured of a lively discussion on all things UX.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
