ULTIMATE FRISBEE PICKUP @ South Chagrin Polo Fields

Notes for Thursday's game:
GOOD NEWS! Weather has cleared out of the area in time for Frisbee! It might be a little soggy, but that means we can have even more fun laying out. See you there!

Come join the fun and play some Ultimate Frisbee

with a great group of fun, friendly, and outgoing people!!!

Where:

We meet every Tuesday and Thursday during the late spring-fall months at the: SOUTH CHAGRIN POLO FIELDS

(Moreland Hills, Ohio)

41198 South Woodland Road, Moreland Hills, OH.

We toss around for about 15 minutes and start playing at around 6pm. We will put late comers on a team after the next point is scored.

When pulling in look for this sign

I will bring all the equipment needed to play the game. If you have equipment that you might think is useful please feel free to bring it (ie:cones, discs, etc.).

If you think you can make it rsvp. If you can't no big deal.

Time: 5:30-dark or too tired to keep going. We'll toss discs around for about 15 minutes before we get started. The games go by quickly, and we can usually get a couple of games in. So if you want to sit out for a few points to rehydrate or rest that's obviously fine.

The game is not hard to catch on to what-so-ever (On the "about" page I have put some information up on how to play & a video etc.). Rules can be explained at the meetup If need be.

Checklist:

-Dress for the weather. Cleats/Running Shoes/Some people play barefoot. Just be careful about people stepping on your feet. Depending on past weather the field can be a bit muddy so plan accordingly

-Stay Hydrated! Water is available on site but it tastes a bit treated. If that bothers you make sure to bring you own

If you have any questions don't hesitate to send me a message.

Thanks,

-Tim Curran

Make sure you check here to make sure we're on for Frisbee before coming out on Thursday! The weather could be fine, or it could be thunder and lightning, we wont know until shortly before the game.

Do the games stay consistent through the summer with leagues starting soon?

That's a good question. We've always done Tuesday and Thursday at chagrin, but I would hate to conflict with league games... So I'll be putting it up to the regulars to see what people think. Well do whatever works best for the most people.
