Umbraco Meetup - The Angular edition

In this meetup we'll look at two cases of people fully utilizing the Umbraco 7 backoffice and the AngularJS integration options it offers. If you didn't already know: property editors / data types in Umbraco 7 are best written in AngularJS.

First up we have Jesper Hauge from Twins Solutions who will do an overview of a Custom section project they’ve done for a customer. He will demonstrate how to setup custom sections and section trees. How to develop plugins for use with a custom tree, and how to  combine data from an external webservice with data in the Umbraco backend, using a custom (Angular) property editor.

After a pizza break we have Mads Levring Krohn and Jackie Nagel from Eksponent who will show you the first public preview of a new and very interesting (still secret) datatype for Umbraco 7 that they have been working on. Throughout the talk they'll touch on various topics including how to create a simple plugin, integrating content, media and link pickers and implementing a property value converter to help support a concept they call localMedia.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Hi Umbraco members! I'm hosting a hackathon 16-18 May in Copenhagen. Part of the project will be made in Umbraco. If you love to code and want to create innovative solutions - and even get paid... This is the event for you!
See you 16-18 May. Spread the word! (Limited seats)
