Temporal Lobe seizures are hard to diagnose and understand. Many times, they come out in form of 'anxiety attacks' in children/adults or 'Deja Vu', or feeling of being out of body... These seizures do not impair a person or a child, however, inhibits their cognitive abilities hence causing learning disabilities, social issues.
What is it like?
Here's a typical story: "I get the strangest feeling—most of it can't be put into words. The whole world suddenly seems more real at first. It's as though everything becomes crystal clear. Then I feel as if I'm here but not here, kind of like being in a dream. It's as if I've lived through this exact moment many times before. I hear what people say, but they don't make sense. I know not to talk during the episode, since I just say foolish things. Sometimes I think I'm talking but later people tell me that I didn't say anything. The whole thing lasts a minute or two" (from websource: http://www.epilepsy.com/epilepsy/epilepsy_temporallobe

Our brain is capable of healing itself. The key is to understand what's going on, and develop learned behavior to address it.
Brain is like a muscle. Temporal Lobe specially is a strong memory, speech, emotional muscle - that needs to be worked out.
The key is to be able to talk to others who experience the similar.
I welcome individuals, parents of children who suffer the symptoms and would like to find comfort in talking, learning, coping and growing. Once a group gets set-up I look forward to arrange various doctors, experts and workshops on the subject.
