Custom Shaders - Dennis Piatkowski

Dennis will be presenting how to do 'warp' visual effects in Unity. Where you take part of the screen, and 'bend' it in a mathematical way. Dust: An Elysian Tail is one that makes much use of this effect, as seen in the swing of his sword.

Dennis Piatkowski

Game developer for DeNA, Co., Ltd, this veteran coder has been in and out of the games industry for 20 years. Originally learning to code in BASIC on the Apple ][e from books, he eschewed college in favor of learning on the job. His early career choices were designed to make him well rounded in and outside of games. These days he is reaping the rewards and wondering why so few games focus on the actual game play.

I can't make it, but I really want to see this. If anyone could record it, that would rock both of my socks off.
