Do you currently use Unity software to make games?

Yep. At the moment, working on a big project with Unity + Futile. I'm playing with some neat stuff like skeletal animation and pixel shaders.

Have you worked with other game engines in the past?

Many. I've also worked with Torque2D, Corona, Moai, Cocos2D and Polycode. And I've rolled my own engines a few times. The first was my very first game project, which was a 2D MMORPG made in Visual Basic--it was kind of awful, but it worked. I later made a custom C-based engine for the Gameboy Advance. After that, I started building an engine using the V8 virtual machine to expose OpenGL/AL to a Javascript context, but I got distracted by lots of career changes. About a year ago, I made an event-based canvas rendering engine in Javascript. I'm currently playing with MRuby and contemplating embedding that in Polycode, but I'll probably wait for GLES2 support first.

I've been hacking on games for 10 years now. For awhile, I worked in mobile games. But I left to work on my own projects. Currently, I'm making a 2D action adventure game in Unity with an artist friend.
