September UnrealEngine User Group NRW Meetup

Hey all, hope you all had a good Gamescom/GDCe week!

It's time for our next meetup, which will be taking place at the A&O Düsseldorf HBF.

This will be a 'presentation' event with talks and demos, before we retire to the bar area for some networking/drinks.

SCHEDULE (not fixed)

18:30-19:00 - We will setup the place with our PC and HTC Vive. This will hopefully only take 30min at max.

19:00-20:00 - Presentations (will end when presentations are over, 20:00 is just a fix-point)

19:00-19:30 - "SpaceTime" - "Sascha Henrichs" (Piranha Bytes RED) - VR Spaceship Simulation

19:30-20:00 - "The Long Journey Home" - "Andreas Suika" (Daedalic West) - General Talk about the Generation and Quest System

20:00-22:30 - VR Demoing (HTC Vive)

"Vlad Lomnasan" will demo his project "Quantum Creator"

and, if time allows it, we will try to let you play the following games/experiences:

"Trials on Tatooine"
"Gnomes & Goblins (preview)"
"NVidia VR FunHouse"

You can, of course, also meetup in the Lobby and have a drink at the bar (or leave to a different place to drink something).
