Welcome to up in the cheap seats. This group aims to bring together people who share a common aim - to see more theatre at reasonable prices.

All are welcome at our events -  I've already met so many lovely people and everyone has been so friendly and enthusiastic. We always keep the group sizes small, usually under 10, so that we can meet up before and get a chance to talk to each other.

We've already seem some great shows, and we've got loads of events scheduled including:

• Musicals: Wicked, Lift, Billy Elliot, Kiss Me Kate, Les Miserables, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Shrek, Scrooge, Lion King, Singing in the Rain, A Chorus Line, Book of Mormon
• Ballet: Sleeping Beauty,The Nutcracker, Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty, Firebird, Onegin, Alice in Wonderland, Mayerling, Balletboyz, Giselle
• Opera: Minotaur, La Boheme,  Eugine Onegin, Tosca, The Mikado, Carmen, The Magic Flute, Minatour, Death in Venice, Wozzeck, Medea, Gloriana
• A-listers - Judi Dench, Helen Mirren, Kristen Scott Thomas, Daniel Radcliffe, David Walliams, Rowan Atkinson, Kim Cattrall, Jude Law, Rupert Everett
• Drama: Great Expectations, Master and Margarita, Shakespeare Galore, some Pinter, Almedia, Young Vic, National Theatre and Royal Court shows & many many more!

There are membership dues of £5 a year to be a member of Up-in-the-cheap-seats. These funds will be used to cover the meetup fees and cover expenses associated with running the group..
