Upper Valley Makers invite you to our
March Meeting
atTrumbull-Nelson Construction200 Lebanon Street, Hanover, NHMarch 29, 2014 at 2PMAt our 5th regular monthly meeting, Mitch Ross, Millwork Shop Manager at Trumbull Nelson (T-N) Construction Company will give us a tour of their professional woodworking shop. T-N is a design/build construction management company for commercial, residential & institutional buildings and has been in business for 97 years. In the T-N millwork shop they do most of the woodworking for company jobs; cabinets, interior & exterior trim, furniture, etc. They also do a lot of woodwork for people that come in off the street; “if it’s made of wood, they can build it”.
This meeting is open to the public… please invite your friends to join us and don’t miss this opportunity to get a close up tour of a professional millworking shop. Bring a project that you are working on or have recently completed for Show and Tell.

Suggestion: pass out an outline of what you want to tell people. It is much easier and enables you to move to the tour quickly. We had a tenant moving into an apartment and were feeling time presssure.

I will be getting there a bit late but I will be there! I am looking forward to seeing what kind of shop T-N & Mitch have :)

Interested in Open Standards and Free/Open Source Software? Like free pizza? Think you'll be hungry before the UV Makers meeting today?
LibreOffice is hosting a Document Freedom Day lunch meetup today at Ramunto's in Hanover at 12 noon. We'll be chatting about what we can do to encourage the use of open formats by local government and schools.
We'll be wrapping up by 1:30pm -- with plenty of time to navigate over to Trumbull-Nelson for the UV Makers meeting.
I look forward to meeting many of you!
