Join Cult of Sweden Uppsala for a social 40+ meetup followed by a free open-air concert at Vaksala torg!
We’ll meet at 17:30, giving us some time to introduce ourselves, chat and get to know each other before the live music starts at 18:00. The exact meeting point will be shared closer to the event, and the host will post a photo so you can easily find us.### What to expect
The evening brings some serious Balkan energy to Uppsala!
Dubioza Kolektiv is a Bosnian band known for its energetic mix of Balkan music, ska, punk, reggae, rock, hip-hop and electronic sounds. They have built a reputation as an exciting live band, combining infectious rhythms and sing-along choruses with humour and political satire.
They’ll be joined by Swedish Balkan brass veterans Süperstar Orkestar, who have been bringing Balkan party music to Swedish and international audiences for almost 30 years.
There will also be DJs, a bar and food trucks at Vaksala torg, so you can buy your own drinks and food during the evening.### About our 40+ meetup
This event is part of Cult of Sweden Uppsala, a local community where internationals and open-minded locals meet through culture, social activities and shared experiences. English is our common language, and newcomers are very welcome.
This particular meetup is for the chronologically gifted – those of us aged 40 and over! The idea is simply to make it easier to meet people in a similar stage of life while enjoying a fun evening together.
The social meetup is free, as is the concert. You just pay for any food and drinks you choose to buy.

Touch Rugby
fyrisfjärdens ip, Badmintonstigen 1, 753 33, uppsala, SECome join the Uppsala Swifts (Sweden's second oldest touch rugby team) for touch-rugby training!
Touch is a fun, non-contact version of rugby (so no tackling, and no scrums). It's great exercise, and a lot of fun.
We play socially, and just for fun, so if you're looking for something to do on Saturday morning, and you're keen on meeting some nice new people, why not come on down at find out more?

Typically we do some basic skills training and then have a game or two at the end...depending on how much energy we have left.
Things you will need:
*Sports clothes suitable for running in (see above photo)
- Studded shoes (football boots) are recommended, but you can also play in trainers
What does it cost?
