JP Greenhouse Workday and UHL Potluck Info

From: Lisa G.
Sent on: Friday, September 25, 2009 8:42 PM
Hi everyone. I hope to see many of you at the JP Greenhouse workday or the Urban Homesteaders' League potluck on Sunday.

Re: the work day, Andree and Ken said to feel free to come whenever, but they will be leading tours at 9a.m. and 1p.m.

Re: the potluck, here are some things to bring:

-a dish featuring seasonal and local foods.
-a potluck eating kit (plate/bowl, cup, utensils, napkin)
-stuff you want to give away at the free stuff swap table.

If you don't have time to make a dish or to make it local and seasonal, just pick something up at the store or make whatever, and come anyway!

The potluck will begin with a skillshare from 4-5. I will be leading a yogurt making demo at 4pm and Ellie will be leading a skillshare at 4:30pm on the U.N. SODIS water cleaning method, which uses UV/sun to purify water.

It will all happen at Gallery 263 in Cambridgeport. This is about a 15-20 minute walk south of Central Square.

See you all soon, I hope!

Best,
Lisa

p.s. The best way to avoid emails about events you're not planning to attend is to RSVP No.
