Let's visit the Museum of Contemporary Art; it's close and the price is right.

The museum offers free admission for Illinois residents on Tuesday. Let's meet after work and see what's new and contemporary. Museum is open until 8PM so it won't be a late night. We can grab a bite to eat before or afterwards; no shortage of places in that neighborhood.

Start time is only a suggestion; let us know what works best for you.

Jeff and I had a great time. We got to see the rather organic works of William O'Brien, which included found object sculpture, ceramics, yarn, and even tons lots of glitter. We chatted with a security guard who mused on the space requirements needed to truly appreciate a Marisol sculpture, and whether she had used a mold of her own behind in one of her works. We watched with fascination as a woman went out as well as back in a revolving door with a suitcase, instead of using a handicapped door. It was also interesting to see the Isa Genzken exhibit being put together up on the fourth floor, as well as ride the elevator with performance artists dressed in black who chanted about memories of alone-ness and childhood.

Let's plan to meet downstairs at the front ticket counter. I'll be there by 4:45 and will stay by the counter. Please let me know when you arrive so I don't stand there waving at a complete bunch of complete strangers...our 'strangers' is fine. My mobile number is [masked]. See you tomorrow.

I like morning better, but since evening works better for everyone, I'm doing evening, of course. I was so excited I thought Destroy the Picture: Painting the Void, 1949–1962 was going on, but that was a few months ago, I guess. I'll have to find another exhibit to get really excited abut.
