Welcome to the Urban Pick-up Game meetup group. 

Our group consists of active people in the New York metropolitan area who are interested in playing and organizing quick pick-up games/sports/activities. It can be anything from soccer, football, basketball, softball, kickball, dodgeball, tennis, running, biking, rock climbing, snowboarding, ultimate frisbee, etc. Pretty much anything you are interested in playing. It is an open meetup where anybody can suggest and organize any form of sports and recreation.

The goal of this meetup is to get people out doing the sports and activities they love as fast and efficiently as possible without having to spend too much time in the organization process nor having to pay exorbitant membership fees to have games organized for you by a league. A grassroots movement in amateur sports!

If you don't see a meetup for a sports or a game you want to play then all you have to do is create your own. Our group depends on your participation so please stay active in creating and RSVPing to meetups.
