We’re finally emerging from our successful December event and the subsequent holiday crash. So we've planned a casual happy hour in downtown Manhattan for Groundhog Day (Tuesday, Feb. 2), a chance to network and catch up on our respective projects. Come talk about any and all things relevant to urbanism and sustainability in New York, energy markets, environmental projects, etc.

It’s another combined effort (our eighth) between the NYC Metro Urban Sustainability Meetup and the NYC Energy and Environment Happy Hour. We're planning some more structured Meetups for later this year. For now, we’ll meet at Barleycorn (http://barleycornnyc.com/) (23 Park Place, a block from City Hall).

What: NYC Urban Sustainability Meetup Happy Hour
Where: Barleycorn (23 Park Place, Manhattan)
When: Groundhog Day -Tuesday Feb. 2nd, 6:00-8:00 PM.
Who: You-the Urban Sustainability Meetup is free and open to all

P.S. - Save the Date! Tuesday, March 1 we'll joined by Miranda Massie, executive director of the world's first Climate Museum (http://www.climatemuseum.org/). Miranda will offer a sneak peak into her plans to launch a museum in NYC that will engage the public to change the global discourse on climate change. Stay tuned for a location.
