Do you want to meet new and interesting people while experiencing all the city has to offer? That's the point of The Urban Sandbox -- connecting active, creative, fun and diverse people in their mid-20's through their 30's through activities and events in the city that you may not have found on your own.

Whether it's exploring a new part of the city, checking out neighborhood restaurants, pubs and dives, going to concerts, festivals or theater, meeting up to watch or play sports, enjoying food or wine tastings, heading outdoors to sail (Jamaica Pond), run (the Esplanade/Memorial Loop), kayak (the Charles Basin) or hike (Blue Hills), discovering unique local events, going on day trips, or throwing a party on somebody's roofdeck -- we want to use Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline and beyond as our playground! Whether you're rooted in New England or new to the city, this group is about bringing together authentic and fun people looking to expand their circle through urban adventures.

To join, please fill-out the Introduction & Interests sections and add a recent photo of yourself so members can recognize each other. There is one other key condition of membership: we want you to actively participate by regularly attending, suggesting or hosting events. We are purposely keeping this group smaller in size in an effort to build community, rather than having hundreds of registered members who are anonymous or rarely involved.

Also -- flakiness just won't fly because it makes events difficult, not just for the organizers, but for the other members. So, please honor your RSVP, and update your status as necessary, so we can manage our events and membership.
