As a chapter of the Canadian Society of Dowsers, we are a group that explores various forms of dowsing & earth energies. What are they, where are they, how can they be found, listened to and understood.

Dowsing is the divining art of working with a pendulum to discern an energy quality that most people are not able to see or feel.  This can be through mental dowsing or vibrational dowsing.  Traditionally most people have heard of water being found under the ground by dowsing with a forked hazel, peach or willow tree branch or divining rod.  Today, there are many different forms of exceptionally sophisticated dowsing tools that can be utilitized to discern distinct vibrational frequencies.  Dowsing can also be used to understand where detrimental or beneficial earth energies are to determine the best place to plot a building on them.

Geomancy is term used to describe the invisible world of unseen energies in the spaces around us, in buildings, and in the earth.  It has a long history from Stonehenge circles to ancient pyramidal temples in various cultures, to natural sacred energy sites like Sedona. There are energy lines that travel along the earth as well as respond to certain planetary alignments or geographic features that can be worked with and understood to enhance your overall well being, health and ability to receive various forms of abundance.  The term 'geomancy' has been understood in the far past as a form of divination, but we use it here as a general description of working with earth energies of many different forms.  Since the 19th century it has been more closely associated through the Chinese art of Feng Shui as the art of working with 'reading' the earth forms, energies, positioning objects, etc. to enhance or manipulate the flow of energy to beneficial effects.  Following this, we will also be exploring various forms of 'environmental energy balancing' to mitigate any possible detrimental effects in our homes, offices and landscapes into beneficial & healing energy flow.

Here are a few links from other websites that describe the above in a little more detail;

We will work together as a group to deepen our intuitive abilities to 'hear' the unseen energies in our bodies, spaces and/or the landscape and learn what it may be teaching us or what may need to heal. Through mediations, dowsing, body listening, talks, workshops, discussions, exercises.....
