I apologize for cancelling this event, but due to the heat wave, low attendance, and my feeling like I am getting a cold, I feel I need to postpone it.
I found this site on Facebook and have fallen in love with it.

They are open to the public on Sundays 10-2 p.m. It isn't too far and I really want to go check it out. We can drive up together - check out the animals and have a late lunch on the way back.
Visit The Gentle Barn and groom the horses, brush the cows, give the pigs tummy rubs, hug the goats and sheep, sit under the shade trees, munch on popcorn, and make new friends.
When you visit, we ask that you do not bring in meat, poultry, fish or dairy foods onto the property out of respect for the animals. On Sundays we regularly offer vegan pizza, vegan hot dogs and vegan cupcakes for sale from our snack shop. If you would like to order from our vendors for your visit, just let us know.
Visit us any Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We ask a $10.00 donation per person.

Directions from the South (L.A. and the Valley):
Take 405 North (or 210 West) to 5 North to 14 North (Lancaster/Palmdale) Exit Sand Canyon Road and turn Left. Go over the Canyon and turn right on Sierra Highway. The Gentle Barn is located about 1.1 miles on the Left.
