Valley Forge Patriots June 14 Meeting - New Time, New Location

Meeting will start at 7:00 PM at the Phoenixville Senior Center

As part of our youth outreach program we have invited the Young Republicans of Chester County to meet with the VFP. The YR's Chairman, Rick Loughrey will be our main speaker and he expects to have several of their members also join the meeting. Rick is also the Recorder of Deeds for Chester County.

Valley Forge Patriots would like to learn more about the YR Organization, their mission and goals and to see what we can do to support each other.

In addition we will have committee reports and announcements.

The Senior Center does not serve food or drink. You may bring food and drink of your own as long as you clean up after yourselves. Light
refreshments will be served.

I swear I think I've been brainwashed! It seems like every time I have a disagreement with my company, I conjure up some negative stereotype of conservative America. I soon realize that the truth is that I've known plenty of liberals who were shady when it comes to business, as well as prone to being arrogant and temperamental. I've also known plenty of conservatives with whom I had no trouble. To hold on to the high ground, here's how I see it. Even in my small way as a warehouse supervisor, I have realized that it is just as important to win over the good people by being fair-minded and good-hearted as it is to tell the sickos and troublemakers that if they want a fight, they're going to get one. If we remember that, I'll remember to tune out Hollywood, the liberal media, the music industry and my college education. Wow. That's a lot. I guess I have been brainwashed.

CC Young Republican's outreach activities are interesting and productive, BUT most of ALL encouraging for senior citizens to hear that economic issues draw millenials to the party.

You're not alone. Thanks for sharing your story.

I used to march in pro-choice rallies, in NYC, when I was 19-21. I started up front, yelling for my rights. Then, the next rally I was in the middle. Next and last rally, I was in the back, questioning what I was doing there, because I didn't believe in what they were saying and supporting.

I had to get in the back of the loud crowd, in order to properly process their loud chants.

I discovered I was still that little girl, who received First Holy Communion, and loved Jesus, and had a desire in my heart, to follow God's Divine Laws.

Thru God's Grace, I have been a prolife sidewalk counselor for twelve years+ . I am a Lay Minister for the Gospel of Life, working to lead others to the Truth.

Some thoughts for the YR. I never voted until the most recent election when I voted Republican across the board. But in my younger days, I associated with a lot of liberals, doing drugs and allowing myself to be influenced by bad people. And I shared the same idiotic idealism- that I was this bad dude who was righteous while the goody-good people were doing wrong. It was utter nonsense, just an image that was "hip" and serving to justify my bad behavior. But before I turned my life around many years ago through better people, I actually believed it. It is true that many Americans are believing the lies that liberals are telling them, but there is a deeper truth in saying that many Americans are going blithely along with the lies that liberals are telling themselves.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
