Developers are typically busy, socially shy, and tired. This meetup group goes beyond a technical presentation to helping developers find what they want. Desired information last night included: job finding in Vancouver, a good lawyer, a good accounted, Java ORB tutoring, creating a causal game, skiing, backup approaches, Freebase. There is a mix of contractors/freelance (incorporated and not), and salaried employees. CTOs of startups (current and ex).
