An incredible new approach to learning English!
Are you tired of learning English in a classroom? Do you need to learn and practise your English while making new friends? Or, do you just want to find a group of people to explore Vancouver with?
Welcome to the Vancouver ESL club. We make learning English fun! It’s a completely new approach to learning English. We teach the same material that you learn at ESL schools outside the classroom. You can practise your conversational, reading, writing, grammar or vocabulary skills. Imagine a class at the beach, party, dinner, dance, movie or hike !. It’s a dream to learn outside the classroom.
We also realise how difficult it is, when you come to a new country and don’t know the language. So, in addition to the regular ESL classes, we will also focus on practical day to day issues, like setting up a bank account, using the public transit, shopping, getting around Vancouver, going to a doctor and any other issues you would like to focus on. A certified ESL teacher with experience will conduct these classes.
You can also arrange for private classes/tuitions. This group is ideal for new immigrants and ESL students, who wish to get together after school to practise their English, meet other students or just get together to experience Vancouver.
The event will be at a low cost that will vary from event to event. Please contact the organizer for more information.
Coming soon in January at the Hastings community centre on Thursdays
