Looks like I made it off the waiting list yesterday. Sorry I didn't find out until today. My fault, I should've kept track of this one.

I'm deaf and there's two other deaf who are RSVPd with an interpreter. Hope I can get in too. I'm on the wait list. Thanks

Is there a chance of me getting in if I show up on standby? Perhaps some of the people who RSVP'd won't make it last minute?

    1 · February 3, 2014

    • Master J.

Unofficially I've noticed for most meetups that typically 60% of people that RSVPed are there. For whatever reason they don't change there status. So ya chances are good there's room for all on the wait list. Still it's just based on observation so you would be taking a small risk going anyway.

Swamped, won't be able to make it :-(
    Someone may have my spot.

  • Simon S.

Still on the wait list for this one. Any chances of getting in?

    February 1, 2014

    • Steve M.

(ghaa.... meetup clearly posts comments when I hit enter...) We are limited by space so can't open up more spots but will be asking people - on the day of - to remove themselves from the RSVP list if they are unable to make it, so expect some spots to open up. But no guarantees. Thanks!

Hi everyone. Something just came up for me, so I am cancelling my RSVP to this event. It's too bad I won't be able to come, but that means there's an extra opening for one of you guys!

    February 2, 2014

    • Steve M.

Thanks for the update Kris but sorry you won't be able to make it. There's a waitlist so someone should be able to take your spot - hope to see you at one in the future!

The way of the future is probably worth attending if not ultimately unavoidable.

You should be able to respond with a +1. We'd like to track RSVP's through the Meetup system so we know when we have hit our limit. Thanks!
