IoT and Healthcare

Hello IoTers,

Welcome to the Spring edition of Vancouver IoT meetup.

This time our theme will IoT & Healthcare, and I'm happy to announce that Telus will be hosting our meetup at the Innovation Centre at Telus Garden. The Innovation Centre in Vancouver is a state-of-the-art living lab that enables the ideation, trialling and proof of concept of emerging new technologies and services. Tours will also be available at the event.

As usual, we'll start off the meetup with Pooya (https://linquet.com/) giving us a quick rundown of the major trends & events in the IoT world lately with his thoughts on them.

Then there will be our main talk for the evening by Allen Devine (https://www.linkedin.com/in/allen-devine-3a62581), who is Telus’ first “Chief Dreamer” and runs the company’s national Innovation Centre program. Allen will be sharing his passion about transforming healthcare in Canada and helping Vancouver tech community incubate raw ideas.

Of course we can't just end the evening without any networking time. We'll save 20-30 minutes towards the end for a few breakout sessions so you can have a roundtable discussion with those who have similar interests or specific topics.
