Meet Your Maker event: New City Market presentation and Q&A

This 1 hour workshop will give attendees an overview of New City Market and further details on the Distribution and Aggregation service, which attendees are encourgaed to give feedback on. The distribution and aggregation service is an exciting concept that allows food buyers to easily access local food from small and medium size farms and producers. It is also beneficial to the farmers and producers because buyers are committed to buying from them, as apposed to a conventional distribution service where inventory can switched from different suppliers from day to day. New City Market is an innovative concept called a Food Hub offering numerous business opportunities for farmers, producers and buyers under one roof. It is planned to be a year-round weekly indoor farmers’ and chefs' market, local food distribution centre, and commercial kitchen. NCM`s goal is to meet the growing demand for local food in an accessible, flexible, affordable and efficient way for generations to come.
