Due to POPULAR DEMAND, I am running this photowalk again in April. If you didn't manage to get onto the first one, here is your chance.

Low Light and Night Photography is a lot of fun. So, I have decided to do a night Photowalk along Granville Street. The walk will start at the corner of Granville and Nelson Street and we will walk towards the Waterfront Station. We will end at the bridge overlooking Waterfront Station and then we will meet at a Coffee Shop on Granville street afterwards to chat and compare our images.

  1. What can I shoot?

Granville Street has some amazing opportunities to shoot light. There are lots of neon signs, moving cars and buses for light trails and streaks. Well lit stores and clubs, so really, no shortage of subject matter. There is lots of colour and plenty of great compositions, so, its up to you what you want to see and shoot.

  1. How do I get there?

You can use public transit to get to Granville St, the sky train also has a stop on Granville street. You will need to walk down Granville until you get to Nelson and meet us there.

  1. How many can go on this photowalk?

This photowalk will be limited to 50 people. If you RSVP, PLEASE make sure that you are going to come.

  1. What do I need to bring?

For this one you will NEED a tripod. You will be shooting in LOW Light and in some places it is really dark. So a tripod will be essential. Bring some warm clothes too, gloves, Toque and warm jacket, it might be a little cold after the sun has set. Looking forward to seeing you there!!
