This is the Vancouver Propellerheads Reason Enthusiasts. A meetup group dedicated to Reason software. To join this group you must enjoy writing, playing, tinkering, tweeking virtual knobs and buttons or swapping virtual wires and want to learn about sequencers, samplers, drum machines and automation and mixing. I'm certainly no expert, but excited to create a group of peeps of like mind in a musical synthesis/unity. It's all on a very positive NOTE.
Discussion, Participation, Enthusiasm, sharing ideas and exploring tips tricks and songs will be a consistant theme in our group of like minded Reason enthusiasts. If you are a beginner or a Pro, it's for the love of music so lets get started.
Bi monthly meetings (Sundays sometimes Saturdays) to discuss workings of reason from basic to complex. Initially will be held in coffee shop in New Westminster, walking distance from skytrain station. We'll check out the instruments, mixers, effects, Combinators, samplers, drum machines and Share songs and compositions Talk time.
The Coffee shop will will have a small meeting room and they ask you purchase a beverage. At each meet up session, a small donation a heavy coin or two would certainly be appreciated and this would be used to keep site and meetup active going forward. I'm not a public speaker; in fact, I'm trying to learn to speak without shaking in front of public so this will help me push outside of "The Comfort Zone" I've heard there is nothing better to push through the boundaries when you are public speaking than to talk about something your really love which is MUSIC and REASON. We can rotate speakers each meetup and share the knowledge.
