Bring a laptop? Yes, please.
Please have a Rust compiler and Cargo installed (https://doc.rust-lang.org/book/getting-started.html) (it's generally a quick and painless process, and someone will likely be able to help, if you're having problems with this step).
We'll be working through chapter 3 from the Rust Book, Tutorial: Guessing Game (https://doc.rust-lang.org/book/guessing-game.html).
Who should attend?
Generally, anyone who is interested in Rust and being part of a community of Rustaceans in Vancouver. Please refer to the Rust Code of Conduct (https://www.rust-lang.org/conduct.html) for other details.
How do I find it?
It's in the level 4 South meeting room at the Vancouver Public Library. If you are coming up the escalator to the 4th floor, you can go straight to the West wall, and left (South).

WiFi Access
You'll need a library card or guest pass to access the library's WiFi. These can be obtained at the front desk near the entrance of the library.
