Hands-on and self-paced workshop on Spark and its applications for distributed query processing, streaming event processing, machine learning and graph processing.
Prerequisites:
• Programming skills in Scala, Python or another functional programming language.
• Your laptop (OS X or Windows). Please download this before coming: http://bit.ly/spark-training-2
• Knowledge of MapReduce or basic machine learning algorithms is desireable but not necessary.
