Whether you want to go travel to Asia, South America, Europe, Australia, or see the rest of North America, you will want to find like-minded individuals who are happy to share their travel stories.  

The Purpose of the Group: 

The group is a meeting place for travellers who have

  1. recently travelled to an interesting place and would like to share their adventure with others
  2. those who are interested to going to travel and would like to gather more information about the different countries.

Who Should Join:
Travel enthusiasts - if you have recently been to an interesting place and would like to share your experience, we look for presenters!

Wanting to travel to ... (put your next destination here) - come and talk to others who have been to the places - get inside information and off the beaten track restaurants, hotels, sights.

New comers to Vancouver - and wanting to visit all the beautiful scenes and sights around Vancouver.  

 

Format of our meetings

1. When our members arrive, each will be given a name tag that introduce themselves with a country or region that they are interested in (for example, Spain, or South America)

2. Our meeting will begin with a 15-20 minute presentation from a travel expert.  It can be travel stories, volunteer experience, slideshow from the backpacking trip, etc.  The presentation will include photos, tips, off the beaten track advices. 

3. And then the group will be breaking up to smaller groups for travellers interested in different geographical regions - Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Africa.

 

Photo Gallery and Message Board

Our group's Photo Gallery showcases some of our members' travel photos.  The Gallery is separated into albums that indicates which continent the photos are taken.  

Members can also use our message board and Ideas section to post their thoughts and messages to the group.
